‘lette Macarons Opens in Old Pasadena

Modest Inauguration Held July 8

After a long wait, Pasadena can now enjoy the best French macarons this side of the Atlantic right here in our ‘hood.

‘lette Macarons opened in Old Pasadena on July 8 in a quiet ceremony that signaled the start of business.

It was a small affair, with store owner Roni Kan and founding French couple, Paulette Koumetz and her husband Gérard together with a few very important others, admiring the beautiful design of the store, lavishing attention on the displays, and stocking the front counter for the very first time with delicious macarons.

They celebrated a private ribbon cutting as passersby stopped to gawk and early morning traffic roared by on Fair Oaks Avenue.

A family from Maui wandered in and pulled up to the counter, unaware the store was just opening for the first time, and unwittingly becoming ‘lette Macarons Pasadena’s very first customers.

But you don’t have to fly in from across the ocean to find or enjoy ‘Lette Macarons. The shop is just steps from the Schoolhouse parking structure on Green Street at South Fair Oaks Avenue, so you can swoop in for free parking, scurry over a few doors to ‘lette Macarons and conveniently get back in your car in minutes.

Enjoy, Pasadena!

‘lette Macarons is in Old Pasadena, at 14 South Fair Oaks Avenue.  For more information, visit www.lettemacarons.com or call (626) 793-5551.
