This year’s SIP-tember cocktail challenge came down to four equally matched yet diverse drinks.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House won this year’s favorite cocktail with Julio’s Passion, a blend of Pom Wonderful pomegranate juice, lime juice, sour mix, Don Julio Silver and Passionfruit Syrup with a Lime Twist.
They were up against a/k/a Bistro’s Spiced Mango Mule made with a/k/a’s unique mango shrub created and featuring Bundaberg ginger beer.
Clearman’s Galley (The Boat) presented a Wild Berry Sangria starring Malbec wine, Black Wild Berry Pucker, Orange Juice, Pineapple and Simple syrup.
Finally, last year’s winner, White Horse Lounge, presented their Rye-P-A made with IPA Foam, Rye Whiskey, Grapefruit Juice and Cardamom Infused Honey.
SIP-tember also featured bites from restaurants around Pasadena, including Du-par’s, POP Champagne Bar, Alondra’s Hot Wings and Copenhagen Pastry.
