Welcome to Pasadena Now’s New Home

Pasadena Now has a new look!

Our new website was launched late Wednesday night partly to give mobile readers a much-improved experience, and partly to handle the weight of a crush of new readers looking for local information during the novel coronavirus crisis.

We’re offering two essentially different products.

Our new front cover shows that dichotomy.

The  header presents eleven images offering a wide range of lifestyle content (from food and wine to gardening and shopping), but it is followed with the compelling urgencies of Pasadena’s latest news.

Our six-person news team headed by Managing Editor André Coleman works seven days a week to produce the most-indepth Pasadena news coverage anywhere, provided to the community for free.

Over in our new lifestyles section, which is called the Pasadena Weekendr, Editor Eddie Rivera and his team dish daily doses of reason why we all love living here — the beautiful homes, wonderful restaurants and incredible people of the City of Roses.

Along with both of these section we publish the most comprehensive online calendar of Pasadena events you find anywhere. (At this point, it is obviously not its once robust, 1,000-events-at-all time self. But we trust it will be again, soon we hope.)

For parents, we offer our Schools section to keep them abreast of Pasadena nursery, ele,entary and high school news and accomplishments.

Sections are updated daily and complemented by our very active Facebook page.

Next month, Pasadena Now celebrates its 17th birthday. It was founded in 2004 by local residents Candice Merrill and James Macpherson.
