Two men were fired upon but escaped injury in a car-to-car shooting in Pasadena early Thursday, officials said.
The attack took place just before 3:30 a.m. at North Marengo Avenue and Penn Street, said Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Russo.
Two men were driving when an assailant in a white Chevy Silverado pickup truck opened fire, he said. No one was struck by the gunfire.
“There was a dispute that preceded the shooting,” Russo said.
Officers found the pickup truck believed to have been involved in the shooting within the city, but the suspect remained at large, according to the lieutenant.
No further details were available as the investigation continued.
