Three parked cars were found struck by bullets in a residential neighborhood in Pasadena on Thursday morning, but no injuries were reported, officials said.
A resident of the 700 block of Manzanita Avenue called police about 8:20 a.m. to report he had discovered his car had bullets in it, Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess said.
As officers investigated, they noticed two other nearby cars had also been struck by gunfire, according to the lieutenant.
Police had received calls reporting gunshots heard in the general vicinity about eight hours prior, but did not find the scene, he said.
No suspect description was available.
