AbilityFirst dedicated their newly renovated and fully-accessible Universal Studios Hollywood’s Discover a Star Foundation park at their Lawrence L. Frank Center in Pasadena on August 19.  Generously sponsored by Universal and constructed by Pasadena’s DPR Construction, the park dedication featured an evening “Old West” themed social event with more than one hundred adults with physical and developmental disabilities in attendance who enjoyed dancing to a country western band, a BBQ food station, panning for gold, cowboy roping demonstrations, food trucks and much more.  The park will be used for AbilityFirst educational, recreational, and social programming.
