Ballots in the Mail and on the Way to Pasadena Residents

Residents of Pasadena can expect to see ballots showing up in their mailboxes this week as Los Angeles County officials announced Wednesday they have begun mailing 1.8 million of them for this November’s upcoming presidential election.

Citizens of Los Angeles can still request vote-by-mail ballots or online or by filling out the form on the back of a sample ballot, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office.

Vote-by-mail ballots can be turned in ahead of the November 8 presidential election at any of the 76 drop-off locations within the county, according to a statement released to the press.

However, those who requested to receive ballots by mail can still choose to vote at polling places, but will be required to surrender their vote-by-mail ballots to poll workers, officials said.

Voters who have previously requested a vote-by-mail ballot can check on its status at www.lavote.net, according to the press release.
