Ciran Hadjian Qualifies for Pasadena Ballot

Ciran Hadjian has officially qualified for the District 7 City Councilmember election to be held on June 7, 2022.

“Our District deserves a qualified, experienced, time-tested and dedicated representative,” Hadjian stated.

Her education and professional experience has been focused on solving housing, sustainability and transportation complexities relating to cities.  Hadjian’s extensive record of public service has been focused entirely on the City of Pasadena.

She has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA, a master’s degree in Urban Planning from Cal Poly Pomona and an MBA from USC.  Hadjian worked in both the public and private sectors as a community planner.

She served as a City of Pasadena Planning Commissioner, Chair of both the City of Pasadena Library Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals and as a City of Pasadena Recreation and Parks Commissioner.  She served as a Community Advisor to a Pasadena Mayoral Advisory Group.

Hadjian’s community service includes co-chair of the East Caltech Neighborhood Association.  She also served on the Boards of the Pasadena Senior Center and Pasadena Planned Parenthood.  She currently serves as a Committee Chair for the Tournament of Roses.

Hadjian was born in Pasadena; she and her husband are PUSD parents and she serves as a PUSD volunteer.
