Pasadena is hosting two drive-thru clinics to vaccinate 75+-year-old residents this week, and every available appointment at each has been booked.

The Pasadena Public Health Department will administer the vaccines at Victory Park Recreation Center on Paloma Street on Tuesday and Thursday.

For those who missed out to get an appointment, city spokesperson Lisa Derderian said the city expects “many community healthcare providers and pharmacies to receive doses and offer vaccine to seniors 75+ as soon as next week, and to those 65+ sometime after.”

The appointments were filled after Parks and Recreation staff called over 200 of the seniors that come to two city centers — the Jackie Robinson Park Center and the Villa Parke Center, according to Derderian.

City staff also responded to emails from Seniors that had submitted an inquiry online to date, she said.

“If residents have questions, please reach out to the Citizen Service Center at 626-744-7311,” Derderian said. “We’ll open it up again when we know how many vaccines we will be receiving.”
