The Pasadena City Council and the Finance Committee is set to continue its joint meeting discussions on the City Manager’s recommended 2015 operating budget in the Council Chambers on Monday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m.

Seven departments are set to present their respective budget recommendations: Housing and Career Services, Human Services and Recreation, Police, Planning and Community Development, Fire, Human Resources, and the City Attorney.

The departments of Water and Power, Public Works, Transportation, Public Health, Information Technology and Library had already presented their budget recommendations during the meeting last May 19.

The 2014 fiscal year budget approved by the City Council in August was $531.2 million in spending, with an estimated $579.3 million in revenues for city-wide operating costs. The budget took effect last July.

The discussion will be televised live on KPAS, the city’s government cable television station. KPAS is seen by Charter subscribers on Channel 3 and online by AT&T U-verse subscribers.
