Cooler Temperatures Expected on Friday

Pasadena temperatures will again be in the low 90s today, but don’t worry cooler temperatures are on the way.

Temperatures are expected to reach 93 degrees today before falling by about 10 degrees on Friday according to the National Weather Service.

Partly cloudy skies were forecast in L.A. County today, along with highs of 81 degrees on Mount Wilson; 82 in Long Beach and Downtown L.A.; 83 in Avalon; 91 in San Gabriel; 92 in Burbank; 96 in Saugus; 100 in Palmdale; and 101 in Lancaster and Woodland Hills.

Temperatures will stay the same Thursday or go down a few degrees. Only the Antelope Valley is forecast to hit the 100s Thursday.

Sunny skies were forecast in Orange County today, along with highs of 71 in Laguna Beach and San Clemente; 72 in Newport Beach; 81 on Santiago Peak; 84 on Ortega Highway at 2,600 feet and in Irvine; 85 at Fremont Canyon; 87 in Yorba Linda; 88 at Trabuco Canyon, Fullerton, and Anaheim. Temperatures will

fall by a few degrees Thursday and several more Friday, when several communities will experience highs in the 70s.

Temperatures will begin to drop on Friday as the heat wave gripping the southland lets up.
