Dead Man Found Lying in San Marino Street

Los Angeles Sheriff’s investigators are assisting San Marino police with the investigation in the death of a man found lying unresponsive in the 1300 Block of Virginia Rd. in San Marino shortly before 6 a.m. Friday.

When officers arrived, they discovered the unidentified victim. The Sheriff’s dept. reports the man was white and appears to have been between 25 and 30 years.

Preliminary investigation does not appear the victim sustained a gunshot or stab wound.

He was pronounced deceased on scene.

At this time, it is not being investigated as a homicide, the Sheriff’s dept. said.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office will determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing, and there is no further information available at this time.
