Meanwhile cases at Huntington Hospital appeared to be on the decline.

Two weeks, 61 patients were being treated at the hospital.

The numbers were announced about an hour after Los Angeles County’s health officers said today investigators are looking into reports of area religious institutions continuing to hold indoor services despite coronavirus restrictions barring such gatherings, and he said violation notices will be issued to offenders.

Locally, Harvest Rock Church has continued to flout orders and hold services under the guise that churches are an essential business.

It is not known if city officials plan to start issuing violation orders. Harvest Rock lost in court earlier this month after a judge ruled that Gov. Gavin Newsom had not been properly noticed in a lawsuit.
