A man and woman used a handgun to rob another couple as the victims walked along Del Mar Boulevard in Pasadena on Tuesday night, officials said.
The crime took place about 10:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of East Del Mar Boulevard, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.
The victims, both 27-year-old local residents, were approached by another man and woman, he said. The man was brandishing a handgun.
Dawkins said the robbers demanded the victims’ property. The victims turned over their cell phones, a purse and a wallet.
Both robbers were last seen heading north along Grand Oaks Avenue, he said.
Police described the gunman as a Black man in his 20s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, of thin build, with a dark complexion and short black hair. He wore all dark clothing.
The female robber was described as a Black woman in her 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, heavyset, with a light complexion and black hair. She wore a gray hooded sweatshirt.
