Police arrested a man early Monday after they say he broke into a Pasadena Salvation Army store through the roof.
An alarm company notified police of a burglary at about 3:15 a.m. at the store and donation center at 35 Waverly Drive, Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said.
Responding officers found that someone had broken into the business through a skylight on the roof, he said.
Even Berhanykun, 23, described as transient, was ultimately found outdoors on the property and arrested on suspicion of burglary, Dawkins said.
He was released from custody with a citation later in the morning, according to Los Angeles County booking records.
