A 76-year-old Pasadena woman who has been missing since Tuesday after visiting a Pasadena pharmacy has been found, authorities said Thursday.
Constance Connie Elizabeth Sullivan was found Thursday morning in Joshua Tree National Park by two Morongo Valley residents who were riding off-road vehicles, police said. She has been reunited with her family in Pasadena.
Sullivan was reported missing after she failed to return home Tuesday afternoon. A Pasadena Police Missing Person alert said she was last seen at the CVS Pharmacy at Sierra Madre Blvd. and San Pascual Street at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the good Samaritans, Jennifer Thompson, 35, and David Franco, 28, found Sullivan somewhat disoriented and appearing to be suffering from dehydration. Pasadena police Lt. Jesse Carillo told Pasadena Star-News the two Morongo Valley residents managed to obtain information from Sullivan that she was from Pasadena and contacted the family and Pasadena police.
Family members told police she was able to use her cellphone several hours after the pharmacy visit and said she was lost and was on a mountain road.
Apparently, Sullivan had driven her 2008 Honda Civic several miles after making a wrong turn in Pasadena and ended up at Joshua Tree National Park where her car was disabled.
