NAACP Pasadena Workshop Promotes Financial Empowerment Through Homeownership and Smart Investing

On Thursday, April 25, the NAACP Pasadena Good Trouble Alliance is hosting an empowering workshop online focused on financial literacy and wealth-building strategies.

Titled “Build Your Black Wealth – Investing: For The Love of Money,” this event aims to provide attendees with essential knowledge and tools to take control of their financial futures.

The workshop is the third in the 2024 NAACP Pasadena Financial Literacy Series and will explore crucial topics such as homeownership, smart investing strategies, and wealth building. Attendees will learn from industry specialists and gain insights from a Black Investment Club.

“Yes, we can control our financial destiny! Learn why you want to own property, the benefits of owning property and how to get loans,” says the event’s promotional pitch.

The event will feature discussions on various investment tools, including CDs, Money Markets, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, and Index Funds. Attendees will also learn about retirement planning options such as 401k, IRAs, and Annuities.
