Police arrested two drivers on suspicion of DUI and 11 others for driving without licenses during a checkpoint in Pasadena on Friday night, officials said.

The checkpoint was conducted from 6 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday at Fair Oaks Avenue and Walnut Street, according to Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Russo.

A total of 932 vehicles passed through the checkpoint, he said.

Twenty-five drivers were given sobriety tests, and two were ultimately arrested on suspicion of intoxicated driving, according to the lieutenant.

Officers also made four arrests for driving on suspended or revoked licenses, and seven for driving without licenses.

Funding for the checkpoint was provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
