Pasadena Ice Skating Center Announces Full Reopening

The Pasadena Ice Skating Center is reopening for public skating, group classes and private rentals.

“It’s such a relief to be able to reopen after over a year. The Pasadena Ice Skating Center has been working hard to welcome back skaters safely,” said Pasadena Center Operating Co. (PCOC) CEO Michael Ross. “It’s great to see our skaters getting back on the ice and doing what they love.”

The Pasadena Ice Skating Center (PISC), which has served the community since 1976, provides year-round recreational activities for skaters of all ages and ability levels. The center was originally constructed in a historic exhibition hall. The current facility opened in September of 2011.

The Pasadena Ice Skating Center has enhanced cleaning and sanitation protocols to protect its employees, skaters and guests. Anyone entering the rink is required to wear a mask and maintain a six-foot social distance. Spectators and additional guests are not allowed at this time.

The Pasadena Convention Center facilities have achieved the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) STAR Facility accreditation on outbreak prevention, response, and recovery. PCOC GBAC-trained technicians will be on site daily to clean and disinfect the facility.
