Pasadena Village’s Executive Director Katie Brandon will present a virtual overview on aging in Pasadena on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 5 to 6 p.m.
The event will offer a glimpse of the life of older adults and some of the nonprofits that serve those from the boomer and silent generations.
The event will also include guest speakers from Pasadena Village, an intentional community of seniors who live independently in their own homes.
Pasadena Village is a community of older adults from the greater Pasadena area who have joined together to help each other navigate the challenges and opportunities of aging.
“From the earliest Tongva inhabitants to today’s residents, older Pasadenans have engaged in leisure activities, mental stimulation, and social interactions, and their legacy has shaped… ‘where we are today,’” the group said on its website.
