PCC’s Philippine Typhoon Relief Donation Drive

Pasadena City College along with Filipino American Television, the Office of Vice-Mayor Jacque Robinson, City of Pasadena, Victory Cargo, the American Red Cross, and PNB-Remittance Centers Inc., announced today that donations for the victims of the Philippine Typhoon will be accepted for free shipment directly to the disaster areas of the Philippines on Wednesday, November 20th at the Rose Bowl from 5am to 7pm.

Dr. Mark Rocha, President-Superientendent of PCC, and PCC’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Advisory Committee, are leading the college’s relief effort.  “PCC faculty, staff and students are continuing their ninety-year tradition of service to the community by collecting donations on campus for the people of the Philippines,” said Rocha.

Donation of non-perishable food, toiletries, and clothes will be accepted at gate “A,” the main entrance of the Rose Bowl, 1001 Rose Bowl Drive.  The American Red Cross will accept monetary donations.  Donations of goods will also be accepted on the campus of PCC in the Quad area.  For additional information, contact vxwardlaw@pasadena.edu.
