South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Announces ‘Crunch Time’ Fundraiser

The South Pasadena Tournament of Roses (SPTOR) has announced details for its major fundraiser, Crunch Time, which will support the construction of the city’s 2024 Rose Parade float. The event is set to take place from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, December 29 at the War Memorial Building at 435 Fair Oaks Avenue.

All proceeds, after expenses, will go towards the building and decoration of the city’s parade entry, “Boogie Fever,” which is estimated to cost as much as $150,000. The float will be built entirely by volunteers.

The party’s theme, disco, reflects the title of the float, “Boogie Fever,” a top song from the 1970s. This aligns with the parade’s overall theme: Celebrating a World of Music. Attendees are encouraged to dress in disco-era attire.

The event will feature dinner catered by StoneFire Grill, along with beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. A live and silent auction, as well as a raffle, will also be part of the evening’s activities.

Tickets, priced at $75 each, are now available for purchase by credit card at auctria.events/SPTORCRUNCH.
