The Pasadena Tournament of Roses has announced its partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) to provide tickets to veterans and first responders for the 2024 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Rose Bowl Game presented by Prudential. This continues a tradition that has seen close to 6,000 Rose Bowl Game tickets distributed to the military and veteran community since 2015.

Vet Tix, a Tempe, Arizona-based national non-profit, has collaborated with the Rose Bowl Game since 2015 and works with thousands of venues nationwide. Every ticket purchased or donated by Vet Tix is given to verified members of the military community or first responders.

The partnership is part of the Tournament of Roses’ community outreach, which has long focused on honoring the men and women serving in the military or veteran community. Vet Tix plays a crucial role in ensuring that tickets reach the right hands.

In the coming months, Vet Tix is set to reach a significant milestone by distributing over 20 million free event tickets to its 1.8 million members. The organization has evolved from a garage startup in 2008 to the second-largest Veteran Service Organization (VSO) in the United States.

Michael Focareto III, a Navy veteran and the Founder and CEO of Vet Tix, expressed his gratitude for the continued support from donors like the Rose Bowl Game.

“When we achieve this extraordinary milestone of distributing over 20 million tickets in early January, we will have been able to give back by creating memories that will last a lifetime like the Rose Bowl Game to our VetTixers and 1stTixers who’ve made the sacrifices of service to our nation and local communities,” Focareto said.

Vet Tix has more than 20,000 donors who believe in their mission. These donors include the live music industry, sports leagues and teams, motorsports organizations, college athletics programs, performing arts and family-oriented entertainment organizations, individual entertainers, and private donors.
