This sermon was delivered by the Rev. Dr. James Lawson at All Saints Day Church on Sunday, July 29, 2012. Dr. James Lawson, one of the architects of the Civil Rights Movement was a guest of All Saints Church last Sunday and preached to continue to equip church people in the work of using non-violent direct action to make change happen. He is a leading theoretician and tactician of nonviolence within the American Civil Rights Movement. He continues to be active in training activists in nonviolence.
