Aveson Center for Independent Study

ACIS offers a hybrid independent study experience for elementary and middle school students. Our program provides the advantages of highly personalized academic instruction at home while simultaneously providing the social and academic benefits of being part of a school community. All ACIS scholars are encouraged to delve deeply into their passions, build upon their strengths, and maintain a growth mindset when facing challenges. From Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through Eighth Grade, ACIS scholars pursue an exemplary education that is truly designed just for them.

Programs

ACIS@ASL is for elementary school students and ACIS@AGLA is for middle school students. High school students have the opportunity to continue their hybrid independent study through AGLA’s Flex Program. — Learn more about our programs and what sets them apart from other home study programs.

ACIS provides curriculum resources to get you on your way. But you have options. Parents augment the curriculum and can choose an alternate resources entirely. — Learn more about our Curriculum Package as well as other resources.
