Ramona Convent Music Department’s Christmas Concert Enchant Captive Audience
Congratulations to the Ramona Convent Music Department on a successful Christmas concert full of beautiful choir and handbell performances. It was heart-warming, festive, and a wonderful way to begin the holiday season. Musical artists from the Estribilla Choral, the Brillante Ringers, the Grandiosa Choral, the Ancora Ringers, and the Chamber Singers were amazing in presenting a very diverse program.
It was a performance that also included members of the Ramona community such as Ms. Judy Ballenger, Accompanist, and Mr. Oliver Truong, Ramona Convent Director of Facilities, who gave a beautiful violin rendition of Candlelight Carol.
The concert also included a special debut performance by Fantastic Sprinkle Ringers (aka Ramona faculty and staff) who also had an encore requested by audience members. The arts are a vital part of a Ramona education. It’s important that every student be able to nurture an intimate connection between her creative spirit and its expression in the arts.
