A Great First School Spirit Day at Clairbourn

What a memorable first day of school and a great first school spirit day at Clairbourn! It is so great having everyone back! Clairbourn School opens for the year and both students and parents are excited. The children have no problem with wearing the masks and are used to it already… they are taught how to stay socially distanced when possible and encouraged to wash his or her hands often. As a result of the pandemic, most kids lost an entire year of social interaction and organized activities.

The biggest benefit to young students going back to safe in-person school is the social interaction and physical activity which is very important to a child’s emotional development. In addition to reading, writing and math, students learn social and emotional skills and get exercise. Many students also get vital resources they need to thrive at school.
