A Novel Way of Expressing Creativity and Imagination

Students in Ramona Convent Secondary School Ms. Green’s English 10 class were given the task of selecting a character from a novel, describing what they imagine this character would look like, and drawing out their portrait. This task was partnered with a larger project where students were asked to analyze grammar and philosophy in the novel, as well as themes. The artwork shown was created by Betty S. ’22. Betty selected “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde for her project. What a “novel” way to express creativity and imagination!
