Alverno Heights Academy Crosses the Finish Line with $75,000 Raised at Jag-A-Thon
Alverno Heights Academy’s campus was buzzing with energy last week as students, teachers, families, and friends came together for the school’s annual Jag-A-Thon fundraiser. This year’s event saw students and staff take to the field to run laps in support of Alverno’s newest campus addition: two new sports courts.
The spirited day was the culmination of weeks of generosity and participation from the Alverno community. Thanks to donations and pledges from families, friends, and supporters, the school has already raised $75,000 — and the total is still climbing.
“We’re so grateful for the generosity that has made this vision a reality,” school representatives shared. The funds from this year’s Jag-A-Thon will go directly toward enhancing Alverno’s athletic facilities, the school’s championship sports teams, and expanding Alverno’s Physical Education program, giving students improved spaces to practice, compete, and build teamwork skills.
The Jag-A-Thon has become a beloved Alverno tradition, combining school spirit with a shared commitment to the campus’s growth. Students and faculty alike laced up their sneakers to run laps, cheer one another on, and celebrate the school’s close-knit community.
Organizers encourage families to keep an eye on Alverno Heights Academy’s social media channels for even more photos and stories from the event. With the goal for the sports courts nearly reached, the Jag-A-Thon stands as another example of how the Alverno community rallies together to make big dreams happen for its students.
