An Enchanting Afternoon of Dance at Sequoyah School

Ballet in the K-8 Infinity Room! Recently, Sequoyah School’s Junior High and Over There students gathered for a performance of Ballet des Porcelaines by the Oakland Ballet Company! This 20-minute contemporary adaptation brings an 18th-century story to life with fresh energy and a modern perspective. The reimagined adaptation was created in collaboration with art historian Meredith Martin and an all-Asian American creative team, including choreographer Phil Chan. “Thank you for spending time with our students!”
