Aveson Students Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month Through Dance

¡Baila, AGLA! Students Celebrate Latinx Heritage Month through dance! The dance moves were in full force across campus as Aveson Schools celebrated Latinx Heritage Month.

With help from Aveson Global Leadership Academy (AGLA) Spanish teacher Ms. Morfin, students from each House learned cultural dances to “La Cucaracha” before taking the stage at a recent assembly to showcase their moves in a friendly House competition.

The celebration featured music, dancing, plenty of House pride, and enthusiastic cheering from the crowd. The activity gave students an opportunity to experience Latinx culture through music and movement while building community across AGLA.

The dancing continues across campus throughout Latinx Heritage Month, with students learning, moving, and celebrating together. “¡Gracias, Ms. Morfin and staff, for getting AGLA moving!”
