Carver Elementary School’s Bike Rodeo is on Wednesday, August 25
This year’s Carver Bike Rodeo will be held during lunch break on Wednesday, August 25th at 12:00 PM, next to the Carver School tennis courts. The San Marino Police Department will be on campus to issue bicycle licenses and run a bicycle obstacle course from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
If your child has previously passed the Bike Rodeo test, your child does NOT need to repeat the test. Previous licenses are good for 5 years. A child only needs to complete the test if:
1. Child has not taken the test before, or
2. Child has a new bike that needs to be licensed, or
3. The license needs to be replaced.
All interested 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders are eligible to participate. ONLY those Carver students who have passed the safety tests (including passing the test in prior years) are permitted to ride their bicycles to school.
Licensing fees:
Cash (exact change) or check made payable to the “City of San Marino” for a bicycle license (good for 5 years).
