Celebrating Kindness on South Pasadena Unified School District Elementary Campuses
To help spread and celebrate kindness, students at all three elementary schools are taking part in kindness activities this week and next. Students and staff are promoting goodwill in tandem with the international Great Kindness Challenge.
Students may add kind notes, words of encouragement, or jokes to a Choose Kindness poster, write thank you notes to faculty and staff, make pledges of kindness throughout the week, demonstrate acts of kindness during the school day, write notes to firefighters who battled the Eaton fire, and even donate books or other items to people affected by the wildfires.
Kindness-themed spirit days help promote a positive atmosphere for students as they continue to exemplify care and compassion throughout the school year and beyond. Kindness matters!
