Earlier this summer, San Rafael Elementary School unveiled a striking new mural spanning more than 100 feet, celebrating the vibrant biodiversity of Southern California. Installed along the K–5 campus, the mural features native flora and fauna in vivid, detailed artistry. This colorful installation serves as a visual capstone to the Pasadena Unified School District’s ongoing schoolyard greening initiatives, highlighting years of environmental stewardship and community engagement.
