Empowering Student Voice: PUSD Swears In Student Assembly and Council Leaders



Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) celebrated its future leaders as new and returning Student Assembly/Council members were sworn in at the December 11 Board of Education meeting. These students represent their high schools, elevate student voice, and help shape decisions that impact schools and the broader community. Student Assembly/Council members gain hands-on civic leadership experience, while outgoing members continue serving by mentoring the next generation through the Student Think Tank.

Welcome to the new Student Assembly/Council members:

Blair: Xavier, 9 grade; Abel, 11 grade
CIS: Jamari, 10 grade
Muir: Malena, 9 grade; Isabel, 11 grade
PHS: Marlee, 9 grade; Nathan, 11 grade; Alessandro, 12 grade
Marshall: Jenna, 9 grade; Errol, 10 grade; Katherine, 11 grade

Reelected members: Yul (Blair), 10 grade; Lula (Muir), 10 grade; Allison (PHS), 10 grade

Together, these student leaders will help foster inclusive dialogue, strengthen collaboration, and inspire positive change across PUSD schools.
