Impressive Showing of Sequoyah Middle School Debaters at Recent Debate Tournament
Sequoyah School congratulates its middle school debaters on their impressive showing at the Chandler (online) Debate Tournament this weekend. With the highest overall % of wins, Sequoyah won the tournament!
For # of wins at the tournament, Sequoyah took 3rd place with 6 three-person teams entered.
As one of the top two teams, Rowan, Miles, and Will made it to an impromptu final championship round, with 30 minutes to prepare arguments that “Space exploration is a valuable use of public money.” They won, making them the #1 team at the tournament!

Felix, Alice, and Charlotte, 11th
Soren, Lyla, and Harper, 8th
Five Gryphons made the Top 25 speakers list:
Harper, 17th
Charlotte, 10th

Will Koh, 2nd
