It’s Registration Week at John Muir High School Early College Magnet

John Muir High School starts off the year with its Registration process this week, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Below you will find the registration dates. During Registration JMHS will distribute class schedules, textbooks, take ID/ Yearbook Pictures, purchase Muir gear, PE clothes and an ASB Card. Please follow the distribution schedule below. If there are siblings and you are scheduled for more than one day, just come on one day.

For everyone’s safety, please make sure to wear your mask at all times and maintain social distance.

• Parking is available in the lot off of Lincoln and Idaho just south of the auditorium.

• You will start the registration process entering the doors off of Lincoln near the “Blue Horse”

• All new students to Muir, including 9th graders, are required to complete either in-person Enrollment or Online Enrollment: Even if you attended a PUSD school last year as an 8th grader, you must still complete the Enrollment process: Click here for the Online Enrollment site to upload your documents and complete the enrollment process. Failure to do so will increase the time it will take to complete registration. Please upload documents by Thursday, July 29.

— Items needed for Enrollment – Child’s Birth Certificate, most recent immunization record, two documents showing proof of residency – Recent gas, electric or water bill in parent/guardian’s name – A deed of trust, mortgage payment receipt, rental receipt with a copy of the lease agreement, or a property tax bill in the parent/guardian’s name – A parent/guardian Identification Card or Driver’s License.

• You will also need to go into your Parent Portal account and complete the Data Confirmation process online. If you do not have a Parent Portal account or have not completed Data Confirmation you will be directed to an area where you will complete these items, which will take up more time during registration.

• Freshman students will receive a separate email from Ms. Diaz, one of our Early College Counselors, regarding the Pasadena City College enrollment forms and application.

Don’t worry if you don’t remember all of this information on the day you come in. There will be signs showing you where to go and staff and volunteers will be helping you with the whole process.
