La Salle Celebrates Chinese New Year



Lunar New Year festivities were in full swing yesterday at La Salle, with lion dance and student performances, a dance competition, and a dumpling making contest. Generally celebrated over a period of two weeks, the Chinese New Year marks the beginning of a new lunar year. The Chinese population all over the world celebrate this occasion in a riot of colors and merry making and La Salle High School is no exception.
