La Salle College Preparatory Celebrates its 62nd Annual Commencement



La Salle College Preparatory seniors had much to celebrate at their 62nd Annual Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 28. Family members, friends and teachers gathered to help this year’s graduating class rejoice in yet another academic milestone, members of the Class of 2021 were resplendent as they processed down Kohorst Field. Tina Bonacci ’94, Assistant Principal, started off the celebration with a speech welcoming its honored guests, the Class of 2021. Following the invocation by Mia Povon, a speech by Courney Kassakhian, Principal who presented the Signum Fidei awards, Perry Martin (La Salle’s President) presenting the De La Salle Medal to Jacky Samartin P’15,’19,’21 (Parent Association President), and the awards presentations, this year’s graduates were conferred diplomas who then proudly and jubilantly processed out of Kohorst Field to a myriad of congratulatory hugs, handshakes, and smiles from their family and friends.
