La Salle’s Speech & Debate Team Earns National Recognition
La Salle College Preparatory’s Speech & Debate Team wrapped up an incredible 2024–2025 season with standout performances at the National Speech & Debate Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
Violet Tran ’26 advanced to the final round, placing in the top 6 out of 279 competitors nationwide. It was a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for our school. Also representing La Salle were Cameron Rangan ’25, TJ Scotton ’25, and Jax Giammanco ’27, who each advanced to the elimination rounds, showcasing their talent and dedication on the national stage.
La Salle was also named a ‘School of Honor,’ placing us among the top programs in the country. Congratulations to our entire team on an outstanding year!
