Maranatha Students Qualify for California State Speech & Debate Championships

Exciting news! Huge congratulations to Maranatha High School’s Taylor Yun ‘27 and Grace Jung ‘27 for qualifying for the California Speech and Debate State Championships! They placed 6th out of 28 teams in Public Forum at the Southern California Debate League (SCDL). They’re set to represent both Maranatha and the SCDL at the state level in April! These two have put so much hard work into their craft, and this accomplishment is a testament to their dedication. Their achievement also highlights the strength of Maranatha’s speech and debate program and the bright future ahead for these talented students. Let’s celebrate their success!
