Pasadena Christian School Celebrates Black History Month

In February, Pasadena Christian School (PCS) students in each grade celebrated Black History month through various lessons and activities. Students honored the contributions that African Americans have made to our society in the fields of politics, faith, science, leadership, and literature. They created various booklets incorporating what they learned for display in their classrooms. Some classes created their own freedom quilts and wrote their own “I Have a Dream” speeches. They also conducted their own research about influential African Americans in history.
