Pasadena High School Library to be Renamed after Longtime Math Teacher

Mark you calendars for a special event! You are invited to celebrate the renaming of the PHS Library. Pasadena High School (PHS) will be renaming the Library the Harriet Hammond Library Media Center.

Ms. Hammond’s 40-year career with Pasadena Unified was entirely at Pasadena High School. Her instruction brought math to life and impacted generations of students, with a few following in her footsteps as math teachers themselves at PHS. Her death on December 28 was a tragic loss for the entire Bulldog Community. Please join Pasadena High School on May 22, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. as the school honors Mrs. Hammond’s legacy at Pasadena High School.

Pasadena High School, 2925 E. Sierra Madre Blvd., Pasadena, (626) 396-5880 or visit https://phs.pusd.us/.
