Pasadena High School Music and Drama Departments Presents its Spring Musical “Fame”
Join the Pasadena High School Music and Drama departments for this year’s spring musical: Fame. Showtimes are Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 7:00 p.m., Friday April 12, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Fame is conceived and developed by David de Silva. Book by Jose Fernandez. Music and Lyrics by Jacques Levy and Steve Margoshes. Set during the last years of New York City’s celebrated High School for the Performing Arts on 46th Street (1980-1984), “Fame” is bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.

In addition, due to construction, audience members will not be entering the auditorium from the lobby. Instead, you will need to enter the auditorium from a designated side entrance near the Administration Building.
