Poly’s Middle School Celebrates Lunar New Year with Cultural Assembly and Zodiac Reflections

Poly’s Middle School marked Lunar New Year with a vibrant assembly celebrating students’ cultural traditions. The event brought together students and faculty for a meaningful exploration of heritage, symbolism, and shared community values. Student speakers shared family customs, including hóngbāo (red envelopes), bàinián (expressions of respect), and numerology in Chinese culture. Advisory groups then reflected on how their personality traits align with their Zodiac signs. Check back soon for more on how Poly’s K–12 community is celebrating the Year of the Horse!
