Polytechnic School Basketball Coach Brad Hall Wins SCIBCA’s “Coach of the Year”

SCIBCA’s (Southern California Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association) Spring Clinic and “Coach of the Year” recognition ceremony was held on April 30 at Orange Lutheran High School. Brad Hall received the 2021 basketball coach of the year award for Division 4. He also received the award in 1984,1994, 1995, and in 2010.

“It’s really not about me,” said Coach Brad Hall. “SCIBCA recognizes a group of talented players and coaches that put together a special season. Coaches do not really win awards—teams do. Poly has had a tradition of excellence in boys basketball since the 1960’s when Spike Booth was Poly’s first all CIF player and Brian Heublein set scoring records averaging over 40 points a game.”
