PUSD Students Give Back to Eliot Arts Magnet Through Community Service

Eliot Arts Magnet recently recognized a group of hardworking Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) students who volunteered their time and talents to give back to their middle school community.

Collectively, the students helped clean classrooms, revitalize the school garden, assist with furniture builds, and deliver countless packages. Through their combined efforts, they contributed more than 400 hours of community service, demonstrating the meaningful impact young people can make when they come together to support their school and community.

The student volunteers included:

• Franco- Pasadena High School
• Ashley – Blair High School
• Dylan – Pasadena High School
• Mateo – John Muir High School
• Angel – Pasadena High School
• Valentina – Pasadena High School
• Emilio – Eliot Arts Magnet

Their service goes beyond the hours recorded; it reflects a commitment to strengthening the places where they learn, grow, and build lasting connections. By giving their time and energy to Eliot Arts Magnet, these students demonstrated that community service is not simply about completing a requirement—it is about taking ownership of a community and leaving it better than they found it.
