Qualified for State, South Pasadena High School Speech & Debate Students Advance
On Saturday, March 2, 2024, 12 South Pasadena High School (SPHS) students competed in the State Qualifiers for the Southern California Debate League at La Cañada High School. Three students qualified for next month’s State Championship for the California High School Speech Association at Clovis North High School.
SPUSD congratulates SPHS eleventh graders Paige Tang and Emillio Lois who qualified in Parliamentary Debate and Sam Whitman who qualified in Congressional Debate. “Good luck and go, Tigers!”
