Bing Jiang, the founder of Rolling Robots, is shaping the future of innovation and technology one child at a time with her cutting-edge robotics and STEM learning programs. A family-owned business, Rolling Robots has dedicated its mission to exposing children to robotics and coding with a practical, hands-on approach.

“We typically offer kids a range of robotics, coding, inventions, and STEM learning programs,” said Jiang. “Our teaching method is hands on and minds on – similar to MIT motto.”

Presently, they offer summer camps at various locations across Pasadena, Glendale, La Crescenta, West LA and South Bay. These camps allow children to learn at their own pace, starting from scratch and gradually progressing to complex programming languages like Python and C++. The camps also provide specific training for VEX Robotics and LEGO Robotics competitions.

The summer camp program runs until the middle of August, and they offer convenient half a day and one week at a time classes.

Remarkably, the program requires no previous coding experience, thereby creating an inclusive learning environment. “Most of summer programs are designed are for kids without having any prior experience,” Jiang assured.

Graduates of the program have consistently gone on to impressive pursuits both immediately and in the long run. “Kids have used the knowledge they learned to get a kickstart to join their robotics program at school, and Rolling Robots VEX Robotics competition teams have been VEX Robotics World Championship Division Champions in the past two years.” noted Jiang, referring to the immediate benefits of the program.

The long-term impact is even more significant. “We have kids in top engineering colleges, graduated colleges, already working at places like Amazon, Apple and SpaceX,” stated Jiang, emphasizing the profound impact of the hands-on learning experiences provided by Rolling Robots.

As part of their continued community engagement, Rolling Robots has been invited by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to participate in their upcoming ‘Bring Your Kids to Work Day’. The event, scheduled for next month, is exclusive to JPL employees.

The team at Rolling Robots continues to innovate in STEM education, building an empowered generation of young minds ready to make their mark on the world. Jiang concluded, “We’re interested in showing people what they can do with their kids to help them finding their passion and navigate on their path to creative tech genius.”
