San Marino Advances After Four-Set Win Over Woodcrest Christian



San Marino High School Boys Varsity Volleyball Team continued its strong postseason run Tuesday with an impressive 3-1 triumph over Woodcrest Christian High School of Riverside in a hard-fought playoff matchup. After splitting the first two sets, San Marino regained control and closed out the contest in convincing fashion.

Set scores were 25-21, 24-26, 25-20, and 25-14, with San Marino dominating the final frame to secure the victory.

Zach Fong led the attack with 18 kills, while Jack Crow directed the offense with 48 assists. Fong also made an impact behind the service line, finishing with a team-high three aces.

The win adds to San Marino’s recent momentum, as the team has captured nine victories in its last 11 matches and improved to 14-7 overall. Woodcrest Christian, meanwhile, fell to 18-6 after suffering its fourth straight defeat.

Neither team has announced its next scheduled match at this time.
